He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Shropshire; his daughter Susan Poulsen (Hugo); his brother Thomas Shropshire; and his friend Grace. He is survived by: his children, Randy Shropshire (Dianne) of Markdale, Donnie Shropshire (Judi) of Berkeley and Nancy Shropshire of Markdale; his grandchildren, Wendy (Jay), John (Katelyn), Jenn (Darron), Matt, Toby (Tammy), Mike, Chris (Allana) and Kirsti; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Searra, Tyrus, Dylan, Avery, Neve, Madison, Nolan, Mackenna, Zoey, Korbon, Aidan, Kendra, Brayden, Alleena, Mattiayh, Tevyn, Austin, Cohen and Nash; and his sister Marian Hill of Markdale.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. (1 Highland Dr, Flesherton, ON N0C1E0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM.
