He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Lougheed (Nee Dart) of Lindsay; his children, Allan (Kathy) of Oakville, Steve (Louise) of Brampton, Sarah (Sunny) of Toronto and Jonathon Daniel (Jaime) of Lindsay; his grandchildren, William, Flora, Jeremiah, James, Lucy, Jay, Mya and Sadie; and his family, Allan, Steve, Sarah and Daniel.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception (1 Highland Dr, Flesherton, ON N0C1E0). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception Ltd. (1 Highland Dr, Flesherton, ON N0C1E0).

He will be greatly missed by his family and extended family, as well as his friends from the Alzheimer's and Community Care day programs in Lindsay and the staff at Lakeridge Gardens nursing home in Ajax. In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate a memorial contribution to the ALZHEIMER SOCIETY OF CANADA.
