With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Josephine Marie McCarthy (Flesherton, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 8, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen McCarthy; her siblings, Katheryn Tighe, Ron Tighe (late Donna) and John Tighe; and her parents, Alfred Tighe and Marjorie Tighe (McReavy).

She is survived by: her children, Debbie Janzen (Harry) of Markdale, Donna Ruttan (Wally) of Baden, Catherine Paulitzki (late Ron) of Kitchener and Kevin McCarthy (Kim) of Kitchener; her grandchildren, Kassie, Ashley, Jackie, Kaitlyn, Leeza, Daniel, Josh, Chad, Mike and Robert; and her pet Mooshie.
