He was predeceased by: his child Shannon; his son-in-law Thomas Hauser; his siblings, Dawn and John; his siblings-in-law, Ed, Laurie Thompson and Peggy Hiltz; and his parents, Leonard Welsh and Irene Welsh.
He is survived by: his wife Susan of John's United Church; his daughter Sherry (Brent Bobiwash) of Orangeville; and his siblings, Bill of Saugerties and Patricia of Kitchener. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
