It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Huys of Florence, Ontario, who passed away on April 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Antonius Huys and Maria Huys; his siblings, John and Nelly; and his sister-in-law Delores.

He is survived by : his wife Julienne Huys; his children, Anthony Huys (Jennifer), Bernadette Huys, David Huys (Jodi), Jennifer Dance (Jamie) and William Huys (Lindsay); his grandchildren, Maya, Nathan, Grayce, Alida, Andrew, Emma, Katelyn, Katherine, Benjamin, Thomas, Steven, Alexander, Zoe and Madelyn; his siblings, Tony, Martin, Peter, William and Maryanne; and his siblings-in-law, Simone, Marion, Diana, Ronald, Maurice and Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that all in attendance must wear a mask.

Donations made in memory of Bert to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or Omacan (which is a Uganda Mission Work) would be appreciated.
