He was predeceased by: his wife Florence; his siblings, Elizabeth Jane and Robert; and his father French. He is survived by: his children, Anne (John), Marie (Steve), Janet (Paul), Kathleen (George) and James (Lisa); his grandsons, Matthew, Liam, Adrien and Alexander; his sister Sheila; and his caregivers, Carlton, Cecilia, Manita, Marguerite and Marina.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (153 Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa, ON K2A3T8).
