She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Benoit; and her siblings-in-law, Lawrence (Aline), Claude (Guylaine) and Viateur (Ginette). She is survived by: her children, Lynne Groulx (Ray), Daniel Benoit, Marcel Benoit, Julie Kuiack (Barry) and Michelle Dennen (Jeff); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Emma Groulx, Danielle Harrison (Noah), Nathaniel Hawthorn, Alexis Benoit and Adam Belbaraka; her godchildren, Cory Trochimchuk and Dan Lapierre; her siblings, Shirley Taylor (Rick), Mary Anne Trochimchuk, Maurice Trochimchuk (Nicole) and Freddie Trochimchuk (Joanne); her siblings-in-law, Clarence (Valzina), Donalda Brideau (late Lorenzo), Clauda Brideau (late Edgar), Raymond (late Jeanne), William (Marie) and Clermont (Angela); and her close friend Philippe Dulac. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and wonderful friends.
