She was predeceased by: her husband Tom; and her parents, Dan Tyranski and Anna Tyranski. She is survived by: her children, Dan McGuinness (Mi-Kyoung), Anne Kerr (Bob), Cathy Terreberry (Alan), Lisa Dumont (Andrew), Emily Morrice (Brad), Maggie Kerr (Desmond Lo) and Sarah Kerr (Aaron Pye).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family has chosen to send donations to CANADIAN CANCER SOCIETY - SOCIETE CANADIENNE DU CANCER.
