He was predeceased by: his sister Marlene Heximer (late Don); and his parents, Edward and Ona. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Shane Leavens (L. Grace) and Sara Mudie (Scott); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Alexandra, Samuel and Greyden; his brothers, Doug Leavens (Sharon) and Allan Leavens (Rosemary); and his siblings-in-law, Sandra Bombay (late Brian), Jack and Deby Gibson. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
