It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vivian Smyth (Fonthill, Ontario), who passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She is survived by: her husband David; her sister Joanne Jenkins; her sisters-in-law, Brenda Jalbert and Mary Ellen Patterson; her children, Jeff Smyth (Lori), Jennifer Maurice (Daniel) and Jamie Smyth; her grandchildren, Jeremy Smyth (Josee), Rebecca Nadeau (Drake), Madison Dempsey (Ian) and Chad Maurice (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Jana Smyth, Jonah Smyth, Jack Smyth and Rory Dempsey; her brother-in-law Tom Jenkins; and her cousin Sharon Leavens. She is also survived by nephews as well as many cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pelham Funeral Home (1292 Pelham St, Fonthill, ON L0S1E0). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alexander Catholic Church (50 Pelham Town Square, Fonthill, ON L0S1E0).
