He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Ruttan and Margaret Ruttan (Snell); and his siblings, Bennett, Arthur, Russel, Leo, Bob and Gwen Fraser.

He is survived by: his wife Wilda Ruttan (Montgomery); his children, Audrey, Garfield Gibson of Listowel, Jack, Helen Ruttan of Fordwich, Janis and Bill Wallace of Bayfield; his grandchildren, Greg Gibson, Shelley Brooks, Ian Gibson, Ryan Ruttan, Jen Trudeau, Andrea, Brian Verhaeghe, Graham Wallace, Jolyanne Landry and Jennifer Wallace; his great grandchildren, Mitchell, MacKenzie Brooks, James Ruttan, Carter and Camden Verhaeghe; and his sisters-in-law, Lovina Ruttan, Dorothy Ruttan, Marg Montgomery and Melva Fraser. He is also survived by his family and friends.

Memorial donations to One Care Adult Day Centre or the Huron/Perth Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
