He was predeceased by: his spouse Shirley; his parents, James and Kathleen; his parents-in-law, Hugh and Malinda; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Fischer and Walter Johnston.
He is survived by: his children, Edward, Kathy and Kevin; his grandchild Colban; his siblings, Bruce and Anne Clark; and his siblings-in-law, Allan Johnston, Larry, Helen Johnston and Irene Bennett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and as expressions of sympathy donations to the Gorrie United Church, North Perth Community Hospice and the Fordwich Nursing Home Residence Council would be appreciated.
