He is survived by : his parents, Betty Reid and Allan Reid; his siblings, Halle and Brent of Airdrie, Alberta.; his aunt Jen (Rick); and his uncle Keith (Gwen).

In March 2020, Aaron received grim news of his cancer diagnosis as the world dealt with the COVID pandemic.
