It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Van Heyst (Forest, Ontario), who passed away on June 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Van Heyst to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hubert Van Heyst; her sons, John Van Heyst (Karen), Ian Van Heyst (Brenda Hutchinson), Robert Van Heyst, William Van Heyst (Karen Cameron) and James Van Heyst (Tracey); her grandchildren, Mataya, Miranda, Kassidy, Nathan (Tasha Nafziger), Lukas, Simon, Aidan, Sarah, Kayla, Erin and Gregory; her great grandchildren, Nash, Noah Van Heyst and Camryn Parker; and her siblings, Denny Van Loon, John Van Loon, Cornelius Van Loon, Adrianus Van Loon, William Van Loon, Johanna Van Loon (Akkermans) and Antonius Van Loon.

She is survived by: her brother Peter Van Loon (Lorraine). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Chrstopher's Catholic Church.

In memory of Betty, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VON.
