He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Edith; and his parents-in-law, Chub and Doris. He is survived by: his spouse Anne; his children, Glen (Cindy), Stephen (Diep) and Jana (Tim); his grandchildren, Alex, Brenden "Joey", Ben (Grace), Josh and Amy; his sister Marilyn (Rene); his nephew Scott; and his niece Kara (Brian).

For those who wish, in memoriam donations to the Parkinson Society, the Canadian Diabetes Association, or to St. James Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
