Doug leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Doug’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Doug will carry forward his memory in their hearts.

He was predeceased by: his father Earl. He is survived by: his wife Louisa; his children, Ryan and Summer (Ben); his mother Ruth; and his brothers, Paul (Valerie), David (Karen) and Timothy (Sharlene). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be sincerely appreciated in Doug's memory.
