Elaine Eleanor Brown Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Elaine Eleanor Brown (Forest, Ontario) is shared. Elaine passed away on September 1, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vaughn Vance and Jean Vance; and her husband John. She is survived by: her children, Karen Laur (Steve), Christopher Brown (Angela), Elizabeth Fitch (Brandon), Katherine Schmidt (Stephen) and David Brown; her grandchildren, Jessica (Trevor), Julia, Josh, Alyssa, Tori, Matthew, Noah, Samara, Gracelyn and Zeke; her brother Gary Vance; her sister-in-law Kathryn Toole (Gifford); her nephews, Kevin, Shawn and Andrew; and her niece Shelly. She is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Calvary Pentecostal Church (301 Pannell Ln, Strathroy, ON N7G3C5). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, and in honour of Elaine's memory, donations may be made to Ronald McDonald House, a cause that holds a special place in the hearts of Elaine and her family.
