He is survived by: his girlfriend Marla Stephenson; his sons, Mark Shephard (Kerry Kingdon) and Adam Shephard (Tricia); his grandchildren, Alyssa, Ashton, Kaylin, Maci Williams, Benjamin and Madelyn Shephard; his children, Dan Stephenson (Brittany), Jeremy Stephenson (Diane), Kyle Stephenson and Janelle Stephenson; his grandchildren, Logan, Emma, Jonah, Melaina, Cohen, Easton and Blake; and his brother Ted Shephard (Susan).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton or the Sarnia District Humane Society.
