She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Nori; her parents, Harry Stark and Blanche Stark; her siblings-in-law, Delores and Peter Graham; and her siblings, Harry Jr. (Shirley), Bob (Leone), Isabelle and Bonnie (Glenn).
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" David Hackney; her sons, John (Lauren), Jeff (Darlene) and Jim (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Corey (Nicole), Amy (Alex), Kelly (Joel), Tyler (Gillian) and Katey; her great grandchildren, Keidance, Davis, Darcy, Emery, Annika and Daisy; and her brother-in-law Bob Gauthier.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dennings Funeral Home (9 James St S, Forest, ON N0N 1J0).
In Jean's memory, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society Canada or to a charity of one's choice.
