She was predeceased by: her husband Ike Matthews; her parents, Alma Smith and Harold Smith; her brother Don Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Lena Smith, Betty Smith and Terry.

She is survived by: her children, Brian (Kim) and Jennifer (Blair); her grandchildren, Adam (Alayna), Jessica, Justin, Graye, Ike and Boone; her siblings, Kenneth (Beth) and Louise; her brother-in-law Ken Matthews; Wilma-Jean Evans and Beverly. She is also survived by nephews, extended family.

In memory of Helen, donations made to the Canadian Juvenile Diabetes Association and would be greatly appreciated.
