She was predeceased by : her parents, Huron George and Lillian George (Smith); her siblings, Leatrice Shawnoo, Milton "Bud" George, Valerie White, Vivian, Gary and Rick "Rock" George; and her sons, Franklin, Carter and Benny Shawnoo (late Russell Benny Shawnoo).

She is survived by : her children, Murray "Blake" Sr. (Judy), Kerwin "Stu", Vanessa "Dish" (Bruce), Nicole and Greta Shawnoo; her siblings, Irvin (Merissa), Maynard "Crebz" and Veronica George (late Maynard "Sam" George); and her close friend Charmaine Thomas. She is also survived by the many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as the many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
