He was predeceased by: his sister Alma (late Vern Blanchard); his siblings-in-law, Allen Emerson, Chris Emerson and Jack Emerson; and his sibling's children, Betty and John Johnson.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his siblings-in-law, Norma (late Ernie), Pat Weber (late Murray), Liz and Bill Embleton; and his sibling's children, Kitty, Ken Stubbs and Bud Blanchard (late Anita).
