He was predeceased by: his son Erick Gowers; his parents, Muriel Huckle and Walt Huckle; and his siblings, Brenda Ysebaert (late Raymond) and David Gowers.

He is survived by: his partner Bonny Knowles; his children, Tracey Ayres, Crystal Moons and Penny Ayres; his sibling Michele Ysebaert (late Andy); and his close friend DJ Moons. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
