He was predeceased by : his brother Harry (late Diny). He is survived by : his wife Simone; his children, Cindy of Toronto and Joe of Issaquah, Washington.; his grandchildren, Lorelai and Reece; his siblings, Anne Vanos (late John), John Beernink (Jean), Leo Beernink (Janet), Ted Beernink (Judy) and Willie Cook (Don); and his sister-in-law Mary.

For those who wish, memorial donations to the Sarnia Lambton VON or to St. Christopher's Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
