He was predeceased by: his daughter Debbie Martel; and also David Ovens. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Ovens (Lindy) and Lesley Ovens (Kevin Scott); his grandchildren, Jenna King (Dan), Jason Martel, Nicholas Ovens, Travis Ovens and Sarah Ovens; his great grandchildren, Aubrey King and Austin King; his parent Jessie Ovens (late Wilmer); and his siblings, Donna McCallum (George Kaine) and Ron (late Maureen).
