Cheryl Fidler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Fidler of Formosa, Ontario, who passed away on January 1, 2026, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Schnurr and Cora Schnurr; and her siblings, Maryanne Ste, Marie, Joan Doherty, Robert Schnurr and Theresa Mullen.

She is survived by: her husband Allan Fidler; her children, Alisha Bender (Christian), Adam, Steven, Daryl (Khrystyna), Jenna Widdes (Andrew) and Joshua (Brianna); her siblings, Harry Schnurr (Grace), Patricia Weaver (Keith), Barbara Foerster (Dennis), Joseph Schnurr (Kate) and Deborah Schenkel; and her grandchildren, Gabriel, Jude, Olivia, Alexa, Ariyana, Isabella, Angelina and Leah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A reception was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walkerton Pentecostal Church (1736 ON-9, Walkerton, ON N0G2V0).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Walkerton Pentecostal Church or Mercy Hill Christian Fellowship would be appreciated by the family.
