It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe-Anne Strauss of Formosa, Ontario, who passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Conley and Jean Conley; her son John Barger; her grandson Brendon Barger; her sister Betty Siegner (Willard); her in-laws, Marlene Sonnenburg (Helmut), Clara Huber (Ron) and Shirley Troupe; Ivan and Jean Conley.
She is survived by: her husband Patrick; her brother Royden Conley of Elliott Lake; and her in-laws, Joe Strauss (Pat) of New Hamburg, Wally Strauss (Betty) of St. Albert, AB, Doug Troupe of Arva, Ray Strauss (Sandy) of Walkerton, Janet Kennedy (Dave) of Mildmay and Jim Strauss (Betty Ann) of Walkerton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, neighbours and close friends.
A reception will be held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Formosa Community Centre (13 Community Dr, Formosa, ON N0G1W0).
