He was loved and cherished by many people including : his spouse Ines; his parents, Robert McGowan and Maude McGowan; his children, Darrow (Kathy) and Debbie (Bruce Brown); his grandchildren, Michael, Robert, Kate and Andrea; his great grandchildren, Shannon, Maeve, Charlotte, Evan, Paige and Sophia; his daughter Mary Kathleen; and his brothers, Murray Banister and Wallace Brown. He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews, great grandchildren, and grand nieces and grand nephews.
