She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Burton and Elizabeth Burton; her siblings, Yvonne Caulfield (late Lawrence) and George Burton (Anna Marie); Arlene Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Sundstrom (Tina), Gillian Bosje (John) and Geoffrey Sundstrom (Kelly); her grandchildren, Christian, Britney, Sara-Beth, Peter, Alexander, Desmond, Piper and Scarlett; her great grandchildren, Athena, Jackson and Everly; her friend Branka Jones; her adoptive children, Emma Bonin (Chris), Evan Jones (Jackie) and Connor Jones; her grandchildren, Anna, Michelle and Claire; and her siblings, Esther Bouthilier (late Roy), Joe Burton (Anne), Alex Burton (Claire), Keith Burton (Terry), Debbie Isnor (Harry), Glenda Cheeke (Ed) and Terry Burton (Leslie).
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benner Funeral Services (1105 Benner Ave, Fort Erie, ON L2A4N8).
Donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre, and would be appreciated by her family, with much gratitude to all the doctors, nurses and staff who serve there.
