It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dettmar Ruppenstein of Fort Frances, Ontario, who passed away on October 19, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Ruppenstein and Anna Ruppenstein; and his brothers, Gerd, Manfred and Egon.

He is survived by: his wife Sieglinde Keller; his children, Adelheid Ruppenstein (Richard), Matthias Ruppenstein (Nicole), Agnes Ruppenstein, Dettmar Ruppenstein (Brenda), Thorsten Ruppenstein (Lisa), Olaf Ruppenstein (Shannon) and Joerg Ruppenstein (Paula); his grandchildren, Stéphanie, Éric, Ann, Marc (Tracy), Tyler, Tristan, Tayah, Tyler-Shane, Monika, Nikolas, Curtis and Alex; and his great grandchild Kurt.

Due to COVID-19 Restrictions, a private family service was held at the Church of the Lutheran Hour.
