James Boden Lowey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Boden Lowey (Fort Frances, Ontario), who passed away on February 28, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Lowey and Gladys Carlson; his stepfather Ben Carlson; his brothers, Fred Lowey (Roland) and Don Lowey; his father-in-law John Vanderhorst; his siblings-in-law, Oscar Anderson, Wilfred Noia, Jack Slyford, Florence Vanderhorst, Mary Lecuyer (Jim) and Audrey Tank (Wilber); and also Huberdine Vanderhorst.

He is survived by: his wife Christine; his children, Todd Lowey (Terry) and Brienne Bodkin (Sean); his great grandchildren, Harper Bodkin, Vivienne Bodkin and Brittany Manz (Ryan); his children, Robert Lowey (Kim), Melissa Lowey (Alex), Leanne Lowey (Steve), Blair Lowey (Donna), Nichole Kaun (Matt), Jessica and Kaela; his siblings, Ruth Anderson, Arlo Lowey (Florence) and Tyra Hammond (Rick); and his siblings-in-law, Ethel Lowey, Elizabeth Noia, Pearl-Ann Slyford and Joe Vanderhorst. He is also survived by numerous niece and nephews.
