He was predeceased by : his mother Alyssis "Elsie" Ewald; his brother Logan Ewald; his parents-in-law, Wally and Laura Durbin; and his brothers-in-law, John Durbin, Calvin Durbin, Boo and Patch.
He is survived by : his father Robert Ewald; his significant other Donna Marie Ewald (Durbin); his sisters, Linda Meberg (Luther), Connie Ewald, Carolynn Heyens (Leo) and Stacey Godin (Dan); and his parents-in-law, Valerie Anderson, Len Durbin, Susan Bodnarchuk (Don), Gary Durbin (Lori) and Tim Durbin (Wanda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, guests write a memory that they have of Kirby or share pictures so that the family may make a book to reminisce about the beautiful life that Kirby lived through many different eyes.
