He is survived by : his father Terry Dronyk; his wife April Bruyere; his children, Shyloh, Kale and Hannah; his mother Nancy Johnston (Alex); his sister Tracy Mose (Dave); his parents-in-law, Fern Tookenay, Gilbert and Delia Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Patrick, Don Vern Smith (Heidi), Tania, Val, Carla Smith (Josh Sutherland) and Michelle Bruyere (Casey Adams). He is also survived by the numerous Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

“You were the best Matt. I will always remember how good of a friend you were. I feel very fortunate to have known you many, many years. ONE OF MY BEST MEMORIES OF YOU: Christmas, 1999, me and you built a bar in our a apartment in Calgary. The fluids that we drank during the build cost more than the bar itself. Lol, I would like to say it was extremely hot out, but it was Christmas time; therefore, that wasn't the case. :) Love you Matt, Sincerely, Jeromy W”
