He was predeceased by : his parents, Albert Herbert Sr. and Mary Potson; his daughter Nicole Kabatay; his brother A. J. Herbert; and his grandparents, Irene, Jack Potson, Margaret and Patty Herbert.
He is survived by : his children, Stacy Kabatay (Anjenette Parisien), Jonathan Potson (Tiffany), Roberta Kabatay (Brian Smith), Curtis Johnson (Raven), Ashley Potson, Melissa Potson (Kevin Yerxa) and Laura Spencer; and his siblings, Glenda Cowley, Valentina Herbert, Gail Herbert, Neil Herbert, Anne Shebagegit (Darryl), John Herbert (Cathy), Annie Boyd, Tom Johnson Jr. (Cecile), Clarence Johnson (Wengy) and Barbara Johnson (Chug Yerxa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
