He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ryan and Sarah Downing; his wife Nelda; his grandson Kirk Ryan; and his siblings, Una Elliott (late Michael), Georgie Clemens (late Borden), Phyllis Barton (late Atchie), Patricia Bradley (late Ernest), Garrett (late Nina), Hazel Johnston (late Elwood), Will (late Betty) and Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Terrence, Donna (Sylvain Brunet) and Danny (Kathy); his grandchildren, Samuel, William Ryan Brunet, Maggie Ryan (Maxime Paquette) and Malcolm Ryan; and his great grandchildren, Angus and Charlotte Paquette. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
