He was predeceased by : his parents, Elmer Smith and Sarah Smith; his girlfriend Barbara Bamber; and his brother Gordon Smith. He is survived by : his daughters, Deborah Van Volkenburg (Elton) of Bayside and Colleen Smith of Frankford; and his grandson Anthony. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
