We announce the death of Lorna McDonald (Frankford, Ontario), who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 89. Lorna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Mackey and Viola Mackey; her husband Harold McDonald; and her siblings, Orval, Elva, Ella, Erith, Melville and Velma.
She is survived by: her children, Marty McDonald (Denise), Vickie LaFrance (Mike) and Kelly McDonald (Kim); her grandsons, Matt (Michelle), Jason (Melanie), Colin (Sarah), Josh (Danielle) and Cody (Calli); her stepgrandchildren, Will and Haley (Mark); and her great grandchildren, Kayla, Caden, Hayli, Tylah, Nolan, Trey, Seth and Wren.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Stockdale Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Br#387 (12 Mill St, Frankford, ON K0K2C0).
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family .
