With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Muriel Irene Piper (Frankford, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Muriel departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Muriel. Though Muriel may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Norman Hugh Piper; her children, Stephen Piper (Mabel) and Connie Moelker (John); her grandchildren, Aaron Piper, Rachel Gibson (Brad) and Peter Moelker; and her great grandchildren, Ezekiel and Hallie Gibson.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Community Christian Reformed Church (149 King Dr, Quinte West, ON K0K2C0). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.
