He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Scott (Kristen) of Ottawa and Jennifer (Grant Prud'homme) of Almonte; his grandchildren, Darynn, Ry-Ann Johnson of Perth, Tyrus and Brett Benson of Almonte; his sister Margaret Currie (late Ron) of Saskatchewan; his nieces, Janet Schaefer (Chuck) and Susan Currie (Ted Miller); and his nephew Michael Currie (Kelly).
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Ontario Wildlife Federation or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
