David Edwin Shaw Obituary

In loving memory of David Edwin Shaw (Gananoque, Ontario), who departed this world on June 5, 2025 at the age of 81. David Edwin leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Manfred Shaw and Bertha Shaw; and his siblings, Stanley Shaw, Alida George and Bessie Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Richard (Elaine), Edward, Allen and Francis; and his grandchildren, Melissa (Andrew) and Ashley (Eluid). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Tompkins Funeral Home (63 Garden St, Gananoque, ON K7G2T8). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Gananoque Cemetery (512 144, County Rd 32, Gananoque, ON K7G2V1).

In lieu of flowers donations made to the UHKF Cancer Centre or to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
