She was predeceased by : her husband Daniel Dillon. She is survived by : her children, Maureen Dixon and Gavin Dillon; her grandchildren, Jack, Molly and Grace; her siblings, John, Leo Cadley, Eve Houghton, Paula Howard and Maureen Cadley; and her son-in-law Neil Dixon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family burial will be held for both Joan and Dan following the Mass. As expressions of sympathy donations made to St. John the Evangelist Church or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
