Phil West Obituary
We announce the death of Phil West (Gananoque, Ontario), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 87. Phil will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred West and Alma West; and his sister Helen Donovan (Gordon). He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Paul (Patty), Kathy and Rob (Tina); his grandchildren, Alicia West, Matthew West (Megan), Aaron West (Jasmine), Annie West, John West and Christian West; his great grandchildren, Austin, Briar, Malia, Micah and Kaya; and his sister Mary Jane Berube (Richard). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gananoque Cemetery (144 County Rd 32 #512, Gananoque, ON K7G2V1). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Phil 's Reception and Fellowship (98 King St E, Gananoque, ON K7G1G1).
In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit would be appreciated by the family.
