It is with sadness that the passing of Roger Gipson of Gananoque, Ontario is shared. Roger, born on October 29, 1953 in Delta, Ontario, passed away on July 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ron Gipson and Joan Gipson; his brother-in-law Vern McBride; and his uncle Lawrence Bell. He is survived by: his wife Anne; his children, Kylie, Justin, Katie and Josh; his grandsons, Max and Ronan; his stepchildren, Jayme Older (Alan) and Wade Strickland (Sheena); his stepgrandchildren, Carter, Peyton, Frances, Wyatt and Léo; his sisters, Janice McBride and Mary Nelson (Jeff); his nephew Wade McBride; his niece Cara McBride; his great-niece Asia; his great-nephew Max; and his aunt Leona Bell.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home (27 County Rd 8, Elgin, ON K0G1E0). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Scotland Funeral Home Chapel (27 County Rd 8, Elgin, ON K0G1E0).
