Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alexis Joan Vanderheyden (Garden River, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 62, on October 26, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Priscilla "Joanie" Hnakuik and Richard Hnakuik. She is survived by: her husband John "Joe" Vanderheyden; her sons, Richard "Bud" (Alicia) and John Lee (Ashley); her brother Richard "Ricky" Hnakuik; her grandchildren, McKayla, Maryjane, Jakob, Jaxon, William, Sophie, Kassy, Justin, Lennon and Jett; and her mother-in-law Dina Vanderheyden (late William Vanderheyden). She is also survived by her brothers and sister-in-law, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dad's Home.
