She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo A. Menard and Aurore Gauthier; her husbands, Alex Sarafinchan and Walter Merkas; her sister Yvonne Bene (Joe); and her children, Russell Sarafinchan and Stephen Merkas.
She is survived by: her sister Marie Paule Roberge (late Roland); her children, Allen Sarafinchan (Cathie) of Sturgeon County, Alberta, Leonard Sarafinchan (Kenna) of Anglemont, Teena Paul of Fredericton, Tim Gauthier (Donna) of Ottawa and Wally Merkas (Kim) of Orleans; and her friends, Mary MacGregor, Cathy Gomm and Jennette Barton.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice (by cheque in person or online) would be greatly appreciated.
