It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeannine Helen Gentile (Garson, Ontario), born in Sudbury, Ontario, who passed away on November 15, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandchild Tristen Major; and her brother Alphonse Perreault. She is survived by: her husband Peter Gurino Gentile; her children, Peter Gentile, Chantale and Michelle Gentile; her son-in-law Tim Major; her grandchildren, Kassandra Major (Trey Suvoltos-Pierre), Jessica Major (Kyle Fram), Christopher Gentile, Karissa Major and Vanessa Major; her great grandchildren, Kianna and James Fram; and her nephews, Brent and Brian Perreault.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the R. J. Barnard Chapel (233 Larch St, Greater Sudbury, ON P3E3E1). A burial was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. John Cemetery.
