He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph McKeown and Eleanor McKeown; and his sister Joanne. He is survived by : his wife Janet (Jan); his children, Rychard (Alysha) and Lee (Denton); his sister Donna (Steve); and his brother-in-law Finn.

“I was named after Bill's father, and Bill was named after mine. The story, as I remember, is that Ralph and Bill made a pact before WW2 to name a son after each other if they survived. I have many fond memories of visits to the McKeown farm. Sadly, I lost this connection when I moved west in the early 1970's. My condolences to Bill's family, and greetings to the rest of the McKeown clan.”
