With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Daniel John Engleby (Georgetown, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Scott Engleby (Shannon), Michelle Engleby (Darryl) and Krystal-Anne Van Alphen; his grandchildren, Brittany (Mack), Cyril (Logan), Holden, Knox, Maria and Sadia; his great grandchildren, Oakley, Mila and Brynlee; his siblings, Jean Lorriman and Bill "Whitey" Engleby; his parents, Cyril Engleby and Isobel Engleby; his sister Shirley Hilts; and his son-in-law Darryl.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (11582 Trafalgar Rd, Georgetown, ON L7G4Y5). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. George's Anglican Church (60 Guelph St, Georgetown, ON L7G3Z5).
