In the sacred silence of farewell, Don is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan; his parents, Margaret Greenwood and Howard Ritchie; his brother Cameron Ritchie; and his nephew Mark Forster.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Ritchie. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
