He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan; his children, Kathy Docker (Alex), Greg (Shirley) and Christine Bessette (Derek); his grandchildren, Colin, Ryan, Abigail, Alexis, Georgia, Skye and Sam; and his brother-in-law Ken Houldsworth (Merydie).
